Shardlow Children’s FC’s changing facilities had definitely seen better days! As with all grass roots clubs, money is tight and has to be spent wisely, so when the team called Quill Falcon to see if we could help, we were only too happy to do so.
The coating on the steel containers had started to fail and corrode but after a few hours work by our volunteers with the Quill Falcon Precision Dustless Blasting Systems they had a clean profiled surface ready to repaint and make ‘as-new.’ Now the team can be proud of their facilities as well as their on-field performance.
In tackling the job, consideration had to be given to nearby residential properties and dry blasting could have created plumes of dust. Using the Quill Falcon system ensured that the dust was kept to a minimum and the job was completed efficiently and effectively.
